Trail Creek Estates Basic Information
Trail Creek Estates is located approximately 3.5 miles off Highway 34 and County Road 41. Located about five miles away from the highway, the neighborhood sits in a beautiful area with plenty of aspen groves, nature, wildlife, and privacy. Roughly twenty minutes away from both Granby and Grand Lake you can get the best of both towns. The western side of the neighborhood has beautiful views of both the meadows and the mountains. There is also no HOA.
Location
Located in the hills of Grand County this mountain neighborhood is far away from any hustle and bustle. About two hours away from Denver and twenty minutes from the two nearest towns there are few distractions in Trail Creek Estates. Beautiful aspens surround the area as well as plenty of wildlife. Breathtaking views are in every direction you look. Dirt roads will take you home to a happy and welcoming house with no distraction from the highway or any other traffic other than your fellow neighbors. Trail Creek Estates is a truly unique place in Grand County and certainly a great place to live. One of the most popular things that make Trail Creek Estates stand alone is the access to snowmobile, hike, and bike trails within the Arapahoe National Forest, which is located less than 2 miles from the homes.
Surrounding Activities
Trail Creek Estates is located next to plenty of adventure. No matter where you look there is something to see and explore even in Trail Creek Estates. Take walks surrounded by nature right outside your own front door. If you want to hit the slopes you can easily drive to Granby Ranch located about twenty minutes away or you can go to the famous Winter Park Ski Resort located about forty-five minutes away. If you want something a little bit closer to Grand Lake, you can snowmobile up in the mountains for an amazing adventure. Miles of trails are waiting to be explored. You can also go fishing in the Summer or Winter on Grand Lake, Shadow Mountain Lake, or Lake Granby. In the town of Grand Lake, there are plenty of fun events such as New Year's Eve Fireworks, Winter Carnival, Pond Hockey Classic, Memorial Day Parade, Fireworks on the Fourth of July, an Arts and Crafts event, Buffalo Barbeque Days, Summer music located in the town park, Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater, Halloween Events for kids, and a Christmas Tree Lighting event, as well as many more. Rocky Mountain National Park also sits just up the road, where people from all over the world come to visit.

Trail Creek Estates is very spread out compared to other neighborhoods in the area. The nearest subdivision to Trail Creek Estates is three and a half miles away, with a long, spaced out empty drive between the two. Trail Creek Estates is between both the town of Grand Lake and Granby. This provides the opportunity to dine, shop, and enjoy everything both towns offer. The natural and uncluttered area of Trail Creek Estates is great and offers an escape every day you come home.

Inside Trail Creek Estates, the East Troublesome Fire, unfortunately, caused some damage to the area, and the number of homes and vacant lots is hard to pinpoint. The average size of a property is about 1.7 acres. Since January of 2024, 4 homes have sold and 1 vacant land lot have sold. Trail Creek Estate's developed percentage is hard to say but there is plenty of undeveloped space to keep the area clean and natural. Trail Creek Estates has plenty to offer and can satisfy everyone looking for peace and tranquility.
