Grand Elk Basic Information

Grand Elk is located just north of the town of Granby. This neighborhood comes with countless amenities, include having your very own golf course! It is located in the heart of Grand County as it is only 20 minutes from Grand Lake and 20 minutes from Winter Park. You can easily go boating on the lake or hit the ski slopes at either Ski Granby Ranch or Winter Park Resort. 
 

Location and Community

Located just off Highway forty, Grand Elk is conveniently located in a large community with plenty of activities to do. Inside this large community, is its very own golf course and clubhouse. Grand Elk is located in the town of Granby. Granby is the gem of Grand County and also the most central location.
 

Surrounding Activities 

Rocky Mountain National Park is waiting to be explored! The park sits about 25 minutes away from Grand Elk if you drive. Inside the park is 415 square miles of beauty, nature, wildlife, and opportunity for adventure. Just next 20 minutes away from Grand Elk you will find Shadow Mountain Lake which connects to Colorado's largest natural lake, Grand Lake. Both these lakes are perfect for boating, swimming, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and much more. In the winter when the lakes freeze over you can snowmobile, ice fish, and occasionally skate. The town of Granby also offers plenty of shopping, events, and restaurants. 
 

Home Owner’s Association 

Grand Elk HOA has many benefits. As a member of the HOA you gain access to countless amenities including access to the clubhouse and golf rounds. This HOA also has a design review board that reviews all new home builds or any modifications to existing homes. The design review board approves all applications. Short Term Rentals are allowed in this HOA. 
 

Grand Elk Golf Course

Located in the neighborhood you will find one of Colorado's best golf courses. This 18-hole course as voted in The Golfer’s Choice Awards as the #1 Course in Colorado for 2022 and was ranked #24 in Golfweek Magazine’s-America’s Best New Courses in 2005. This course was inspired by the British Isles with its rolling terrain and contours. Proper golf attire is required for both the golf course and the driving range.
